Context

Air transport environment is more and more subject to fierce competition. Low Cost airlines offer extremely low fares which have become market references. Traditional airlines are forced to match, but this move can drive them to bankruptcy if it is not part of a pertinent customer segmentation, and if it is not linked to a specific bookings management technique like ”revenue management”.
