Human factors for flight crew

The flight crew has to work as a team in the confined space of the cockpit. Important decisions – often irreversible – have to be taken under time pressure and require optimum synergy between the crew members. Safety depends on it.

Our Offer

This 3 to 4 day seminar (according to the number of participants) presents the theoretical concepts in relation to the regulatory framework, in a w ay that is concrete and adapted to your own context, in terms of fleet, operations, and socio-cultural references.

It is based around between participants and instructor, with feedback and real-life operational experiences.

You can purchase the course for your initial and recurrent training (as defined by JAR OPS1 under part N).

 

 

Pedagogical objectives

Increase crew awareness of its environment.

Encourage individual integration of each member of the Captain-Co-pilot tandem so as to optimize cabin crew synergy.

Take into account the implications in human factors of automatic systems and new technology in modern cockpits.

To improve communication between the crew, and to increase awareness of Man-Machine and Machine-Man communication.

Specific differences linked to different types of airplane

Feedback and the ethical charter

Other areas needing additional attention required by the flight safety service in your airline or updating of CRM skills. The revision of programmes takes place over a period of 3 years, taking into account anonymous evaluations of crews in this area, and of information specified by the flight accident prevention programme in your airline.

This course lasts three to four days according to the number of participants.
